Aquabio Ltd – Axenis™ Oxy-MBR

AXENIS™ is the Oxy-MBR process for treatment of industrial effluents with medium to high COD's. (i.e. COD’s greater than 5,000mg/l )

AXENIS™ incorporates the addition of pure oxygen and air into the biological stage of the MBR process providing precise DO and pH control. This allows the process to be ultra high rate able to match very high respiration rates. The process generally operates at warmer temperatures than air based processes leading to significantly reduced sludge yields and lower total overall power requirement.

A containerised pilot plant is available for detailed trials and demonstrations of this process to be undertaken at customer sites. Please contact us for further details.
