Aquabio utilise a selection of membrane technologies from a variety of suppliers:

Cross Flow UF Membranes

These are utilised in the Aquabio AMBR, BIOVERT™ and OXYMBR technologies for biomass separation. Please see the Aerobic process description for further details. For an animated view of the UF principle please go here.

Nanofiltration / Reverse Osmosis

These are utilised where water reuse needs to meet higher quality standards than that available from the Cross Flow UF Membranes. Please see our water reuse section for more details.

Capillary Dead End UF

Utilised for tertiary treatment and RO pre treatment.
