Client

Dalmunach is one of Scotland’s most contemporary distilleries, built on the site of the disused Imperial Distillery at Carron by owner Pernod Ricard (Chivas Brothers) in 2014.

Dalmunach is capable of producing up to 10 million litres per year, with the high quality Speyside style spirit used in bestselling blended whisky brands within Chivas Brothers’ portfolio, including Chivas Regal, Ballantine’s and Royal Salute.

Project requirements

Installation of an AMBR LE™ treatment plant, with scope limited chemical dosing systems, bioreactor tank, aeration system and ultrafiltration membranes as per client requirements.

Treatment of wastewater generated from process areas and notably for removal of residual copper concentrations, for discharge to sensitive watercourse to meet with stringent parameters set by SEPA.
